Cape Town
Start your trip in Cape Town. Often referred to as one of the most beautifully located cities in the world, Cape Town has a lot to offer: Table Mountain, historical centre, V&A Waterfront, many amazing beaches, Cape of Good Hope, great shopping, topclass restaurants and nightlife!
Upon arrival you will be checking in one the finest hotels in Cape Town. This 5 star hotelresort is located next to the world famous V&A Waterfront shopping centre, with hundreds of luxurious shops and top restaurants, and only a stone throw away from the city centre, Table Mountain and beaches.
Four days in Cape Town would offer you ample time to explore the city and its surroundings and play golf on 2 or 3 very different golf courses. You will have time to visit the Cape of Good Hope, Robben Island and many more beautiful sights. We recommend to play on an Ocean front golf course, as well as one situated in the southern suburbs on the very prestigious Steenberg course, which features courses through vineyards, forests and along various streams.
Your holidays would not be complete without a good lunch and dinner. We are foodaddicts, so we will do our best to recommend the best lunch and dinner spots in and around the city!
WINE & DINE
After 4 nights you will travel to Franschhoek, gourmet capital in Africa. You will be staying here for 2 nights. On your first day you have the opportunity to do some wine, olive oil or cheese tastings. We will also make sure to suggest some wonderful restaurants to fully enjoy this delicious region.
You will be playing on Kleine Zalze golf estate, and visit Ernie Els’ wine farm for some wine tasting. For both lunch and dinner, we gladly recommend some very fine restaurants this region has to offer. There are 2 restaurants that are featured in the Top 100 of the world.
GARDEN ROUTE
On your 6th day you will travel to George, about 4 hours from Franschhoek. You will do the first leg of the famous Garden Route. The road winds through amazing scenery. In George you will be staying at a fine 5 star Hotel. This hotel features a large swimming pool, health centre, restaurants and above all, is beautifully located nearby the Indian Ocean.
Upon arrival you will be served lunch and in the late afternoon you will be playing on the hotel’s 18 hole golf course, designed by Ernie Els.
The next day you will be travelling to Fancourt. This well known golf resort nearby George is famous for its stunning setting with views over the ocean and mountains. After a delicious lunch you will be heading back to your hotel and can relax during the afternoon.
SAFARI IN A PRIVATE GAME LODGE
After 3 days you will be travelling towards Port Elizabeth. From here you will make a short ride to a private game reserve in a complete malaria free area. This luxury game park offers twice daily a game viewing drive in an open vehicle. Game drives in open land rovers, with a professional team of game rangers, offer guests the thrill of close encounters with Africa’s Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo).
The rest of the day can be spend as you wish: tanning, reading, swimming and of course enjoying a long lunch! The elegant and spacious en-suite rooms are very luxurious and all meals and selected drinks are included in the package.
